Experiment with this don't worry you can always paint over any mistakes. And use a very light almost white color to highlight most of the wig. Use a very dark or almost black color for the crevices of the twist bun and part. Start by covering the whole thing in a medium grey color and let dry. Use a bottle of fabric glue to cover the entire yarn hair do. I didn't really want any hot glue clumps to ruin the look of my wig. I stitched as much as I could instead of using hot glue. Now go through and secure everything, you can do this by stitching any loose ends or hot gluing them. Tuck and glue or stitch any loose ends under the bun in the back. I tried sculpting a wig out of lightweight modling clay but ultimately this wig was much more comfortable and easier to create than the sculpted one so I went with it.
